Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to inform you of the Personal Data, we hold about you and explain the purposes and duration for which it is held. We are also required to explain your right to have your personal data amended or delete and to obtain your signed consent for the Club to hold it. The Personal Data we hold on computer is :- your Name or Names (in the case of Family members), your Postal Address, your Landline and /or Mobile phone numbers, your email address (in a small number of cases only), name/s and Date of Birth in the case of the children of Family and Junior Members. Personal Data is held on a secure locked computer by the Club.

The above Data is required to enable us carry out the general administration of the business of the Club. In order to maintain communication with members, we use the webtext services of the Companies “O2/Three” and “Create Text”. To do so, it has been necessary to pass your Name and Mobile Number ONLY to both of these Companies. Your personal data will never be used for marketing purposes or passed on by the Club to third parties with the exception of “O2/Three” and “Create Text”. Both of these companies have elaborate security systems in place to protect your data. In addition, a small number of printed copies of your Personal Data are made available to certain Club Officers to enable them perform their respective roles.

You are entitled under GDPR to request a copy of the information, we hold about you and have it amended or deleted. Be aware of the consequences of deletion of all your Data. If required, please contact the Secretary. On cessation of membership, your personal data will be deleted from computer. Printed data is shredded after one year.
